Term 3 Week 5

This week, Primary 4,5,6 and 7 have been looking at multiplication and repeated addition, as well as how to partition even bigger numbers.

We have been practising our typing skills -trying to ensure that we touch type and don’t take a sneaky peek at the keyboard.

At the pool, some of the children were learning the back crawl, while others got the chance to jump in the deep end. Everyone had a good time.

We have been adding to our whole school timeline, working on large scale drawings of the Jacobites and the Redcoats as well as learning about key figures such as Charles Edward Stuart and Flora MacDonald.

Term 3, Week 4

This week, Primary 4,5,6 and 7 have been using partitioning strategies to help us multiply and divide. We have been investigating the mystery of Flannan Isle and of course, we went swimming. This was our first trip since the pandemic and so naturally, we were very excited. The children behaved impeccably on their way to the pool and during their lessons. They listened carefully to the instructors and all enjoyed the trip.
